Remember the Artist Challenge back in June? Well three months later on Sept. 15, Paint Love hosted another awesome event to add to the books! The 2018 Art Auction and Fundraiser was proof that Paint Love is greatly fulfilling its mission in the community with every passing day.

The artwork completed by the wonderful six artists in our Artist Challenge was up for auction- which the guests happily indulged. Our partner organization (Camp Peace), artists and Title I school partner (Clarkdale Elementary School) were recognized and awarded our first Impact Awards, appreciating them for their amazing efforts and teamwork with serving our youth this year! The guests were supportive and generous in donations supporting the continuation in funding more Paint Love programs in the future.

We would like to thank the talented vocalist duo, Jared+Amber , and the gifted Rudy Currence for their performances. They gave Paint Love a mini concert!

Last but definitely not least, we would like to send a HUGE thank you to our friends at Color Wheel Studio for allowing us to host this event in their venue!!! Thank you to our donors and guests as well! We truly couldn’t have done this without you. In honor of our famous social handle and hashtag, Go Paint Love!

See you all next year!

[UPDATE]: We are humbly excited to announce that we have raised over $10,000 toward our programming! Great thanks to all of our donors, supporters, and sponsors for bringing this goal to past! We hope to continue with you all on the Paint Love mission.

2018 Artist Challenge

Six incredibly talented artists, Six generous sponsors, 20 hard working volunteers, and an abundant amount of love and support made for an unforgettable Artist Challenge! All of the artists were able to complete their paintings with the help of the attendees purchasing their supplies very early on in the evening. We had the luxury of receiving tours from max Media's technology lab, while enjoying drinks from Reformation brewery and eating delicious sweets from Sugar Spun Fun.

The guests were able to participate in a successful silent auction, having the chance to win braves tickets, a wine tour with VinoVan, a weekend getaway to Lake Jackson, a years supply of cakes from Sugar Spun Fun, and so many more unique items/ experiences.

The success of this event is crucial to allowing Paint Love to continue to host events and enrich the lives of youth in Atlanta. Walking away from a fundraiser feeling overwhelmed by the love and support shown to us on Saturday excites us to continue to stay motivated and focused on our mission. Thank you to everybody that had any part in this event, we can't thank you enough!
