MURALS & INSTALLATIONS
It’s more than a mural…
Every Paint Love mural or installation features a collaborative, community-centered design and paint process, guided by Paint Love's Trauma-Informed Arts Model and led by our team of professional artists. Through each step of our process, we foster creativity and care through trust and respect, building confidence in each of our participants. Our community-centered mural programs focus on a deeper theme chosen by your community, grounding each mural in shared values and fostering deeper connection.
With over a decade of experience in creating high-quality, long-lasting murals on interior, exterior, and portable surfaces, Paint Love brings a one-of-a-kind experience to schools, organizations, and communities of all sizes.
It starts with listening.
Every great mural begins with the people who will call it theirs.
We kick things off with a collaborative design session where youth and community members share ideas, stories, and inspiration. Once the design is finalized, it's time to grab the paint!
Whether it's 25 participants or 2,500+, everyone gets a chance to help bring the mural to life through a customized, theme-based painting experience led by Paint Love's team.
The best part? Stepping back to celebrate a work of art that reflects your community—created by your community.
Funding YOUR MURAL
Most collaborative mural projects range from $8,000–$15,000, depending on the size, surface, and scope of community engagement. While that may sound like a significant investment, many of our partners successfully fund their projects through a combination of organizational budgets, grants, sponsorships, and community support.
We'll help you think creatively about funding opportunities. Paint Love can partner with your organization to identify potential grant opportunities, provide a one-page overview of the project for funders, and offer language that communicates the impact of the mural process—not just the finished artwork.
Because our murals are rooted in youth development, community engagement, and wellbeing, they often align with funding priorities across multiple sectors, including arts and culture, education, mental health, public health, placemaking, beautification, violence prevention, community development, parks and recreation, and corporate community investment. A mural is rarely just a mural—it's an opportunity to invest in young people, strengthen community connections, and transform shared spaces.
