Year: 2025

In January 2025, Paint Love, worked with North Atlanta High School and Atlanta artist Sway Jones, created two vibrant vinyl murals with the help of nearly 700 students.

For this project four National Art Honors Society Student Ambassadors collected peer input and helped shape the theme of the mural - community and legacy.

The Paint Love team hosted five student input sessions. Through thought-provoking questions and mediums (like poetry and visual arts), students explored their relationship with themselves, their peers and the legacy they wished to leave at their school.

Artist Sway Jones then used the feedback provided by students and faculty and translated these ideas into a design that embodies the true meaning of the Warrior spirit. One prominent element was the incorporation of nature-- a reflection of the school’s large, multi-story windows overlooking the Chattahoochee River.

During their electives, students completed the mural. The two-part mural will hang in two large atriums as a reminder of the students’ connection to the space and one another.

Special thanks to Lori Fiore and the Atlanta Public Schools Fine and Performing Arts team for helping this project come to life.
