Session 1 Visual Arts: In each weekly session of the visual arts series, kids ages 7-10 will learn about the life and work of a modern Black artist and complete a creative project based on their style. Paint Love’s unique model incorporates social emotional learning skills into each project, so each session will teach an emotional regulation exercise to help fight stress in creative ways. Each session will also incorporate a community-building element by giving participants an opportunity to contribute to the collaborative mural project honoring Roswell Roots to be displayed at City Hall.
