In 2025, Paint Love partnered with the Georgia Department of Public Health’s “Health Care Transition for Teens and Young Adults” Program to use their arts to education young people around healthcare.

Teens from around the state designed and painted the five panels. Each panel represents the S.T.E.P.S for Transition. Teens thoughtfully considered accessibility through the design process. Each panel will be displayed at a Public Health location in Georgia.

The mural was celebrated, alongside a youth panel, at the 2026 Georgia Child Health Conference.

What is Health Care Transition?

Health Care Transition is when you move from a doctor who sees only children to one who sees adults, or when you switch from a family doctor who cares for both children and adults to an adult-focused model of care. This means you take responsibility for your health and make decisions about it.
