Welcome to Paint Love’s curriculum guide featuring projects inspired by photographers from around the globe. These projects give opportunity to explore multiple types of photography and the cultures of those photographed. This diverse array of artists stretch the imagination and bounds of photographic possibilities. This guide is acceptable for any age.

Each project features questions about the process, along with social-emotional learning (SEL) questions, and can be done with a cell phone—opening up new possibilities for virtual learning application. The “Mindfulness in Photography” page is a resource for including mindfulness during and through picture-taking. We believe emotional regulation activities are an important step to creating—allowing kids the opportunity to quiet the external world to tap into themselves.
