As a Paint Love Artist, you will have the opportunity to empower young people through art, engage with your community, share your expertise, and most importantly, remind kids facing tough times that they are loved, unique, and full of potential.

Paint Love lead artists commit to teaching either single-session projects on a volunteer basis, or multi-session art projects which offer an artist stipend for fulfilling the commitment (more information below).

Additionally, all Paint Love artists:

• Work together with Paint Love staff to develop an art project sharing their expertise

• Have the opportunity for a “teaching trial run” for new projects at one of our monthly volunteer orientations

• Receive direction and support as needed on making sure the project is trauma-informed and sensitive to the experiences of the youth being served

• Receive ongoing support from Paint Love staff during the project planning phase and support from staff and volunteers during the project itself; including classroom management, extra hands for one-on-one attention, etc.

• Have all art supplies for the project provided by Paint Love
