The YWLP works to foster creativity and self-expression through artwork. On July 5th from 10:00 – 11:00 am at Clarkston Public Library, 951 N Indian Creek Dr, Clarkston, GA 30021, they would like an artist to lead an art project with their young women.  The Creatives Project fellow, Maria Korol will be leading a project and we are looking for additional volunteers to help!

This will be a time that the mentors at the YWLP and students get to know each other and learn about each other. The YWLP teens are interested in female empowerment, being advocates against domestic violence, love all forms of art, and sharing their culture.

The Young Women’s Leadership Program (YWLP) prepares 21 high school refugee girls from Clarkston, GA for success through adult mentoring and educational programming.
